Still, I like it! Cleaner and faster than air flight it could work.

Re: http://theburningor.tumblr.com/post/783007119

Very insightful chris!

Re: http://theburningor.tumblr.com/post/593398195

Oooo, I really like that one. Reminds me of a new commercial building here in NZ called 'Ironbank' : http://www.ironbank.co.nz/
Re: http://theburningor.tumblr.com/post/360408237

Looks like someone set him up the bomb!

Re: The Burning OR: Lifeblog

Do you know any of the history? Similar concrete construction with a heavy emphasis on texture, except a lot bigger and built for semi-public use. One of my favorite buildings on campus and it has a great history.

Re: A poem

Karl Barth is none other than one of the greatest theologians of the 20th century. He was kicked out of Germany shortly after the Nazis came to power for advocating against them and then spend the next 15 years ranting against them from Switzerland. He's definitely worth looking into.

Re: A poem

such a good poem! who is Karl Barth?

Re: The Burning OR: Lifeblog - LEGO tank with full interior by mad_a0

But who would ever want to throw out a lego piece!?!

Re: The Burning OR: Lifeblog - LEGO tank with full interior by mad_a0

They're made of PVC...shame that such a well conceived toy is made of environmental poison.

Re: Cold and Gray Beauty

I really love this entry! I feel the same way about cold weather...that it's better that hot. Here in LA, you don't really have seasons, but it does get cold. However, it's never as cold as I'm sure it gets back east. I'd like to experience that kind of cold one day.

Re: Reclaiming the Flag

I love the passion embedded in this entry, Chris. You've describe so eloquently what I feel. Being hated by the world isn't something to be proud of and you're right...we need to take back our flag!
