When I saw this I realized that we can make a different artwork in our own. The thing is, it lies in our hands on how an artwork must be define according to what we want to express.

Given the speed a nuclear powered train could go we might need to come up with a better track system than steel rails on wooden pilings. Still, I like it! Cleaner and faster than air flight it could work.

Have you ever been to Colgate University and seen the art building? Similar concrete construction with a heavy emphasis on texture, except a lot bigger and built for semi-public use. One of my favorite buildings on campus and it has a great history.

Karl Barth is none other than one of the greatest theologians of the 20th century. He was kicked out of Germany shortly after the Nazis came to power for advocating against them and then spend the next 15 years ranting against them from Switzerland. He's definitely worth looking into.

I really love this entry! I feel the same way about cold weather...that it's better that hot. Here in LA, you don't really have seasons, but it does get cold. However, it's never as cold as I'm sure it gets back east. I'd like to experience that kind of cold one day.
